This is the Goring and District Twinning Association Web Site. Our Twinning Association covers Goring-on-Thames, Streatley and the surrounding District. We are twinned with our sister town, Bellême, which is in Normandy, France.

Carnival in Bellême 3rd/4th March 2012

Stühlingen have an annual carnival and every fifth year the carnival moves to Bellême. On the weekend of 3rd/4th March 2012 a small group from the UK joined the Carnival Celebrations in Bellême.

30th Anniversary

In May 2009 we celebrated our 30th Anniversary here in Goring and created a separate website dedicated to the 30th Anniversary in Goring, which has a many photographs and descriptions of the activities from May 2009. Here is a short news item on  BBC South..

We recently celebrated again in Bellême in May 2010 together with our friends from Stuhlingen.

There is a Brief Report and we have created a separate Anniversary 2010 website giving a full report with many pages and photographs.
