The local Twinning Association was formed in 1979, so the year 2009 was our 30th Anniversary. In keeping with previous major anniversaries, there has been a large exchange to celebrate this event, in which we endeavoured to involve all the community.

Over the weekend of 30^th May to 1^st June 2009 we recieved some 85 French visitors and a three German visitors.

We also recently visited Bellême in May 2010 to celebrate the anniversary there.

There is now a new Anniversary Website covering all the action of the weekend. The previous pages in this section have now been removed and are replaced by pages on the new site.

There was a short news item on  BBC South.

Our visitors stayed with a host families and there was a full programme of events organised for them.
