Some years back, before the days of the Regatta, the Village Carnival used to have a parade of floats.

1989 was the 10th Anniverary with the Surprise Float. The theme was past surprises. Inside the real surprise was the Exchange Telephone kiosk for Bellême
1988, The Beefeaters and the Tower of London
