The Goring Gap News (GGN) is a local monthly community magazine, reporting on events, people and business, which is delivered to every house and business in Goring and Streatley. The GGN were winners of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2004. The Goring Gap News Web Site gives useful and interesting information about the Goring Gap, including local shops, services and various organisations. GGN can be emailed at ggn@gotadsl.co.uk.
Goring Gap Health Walks are part of a UK wide Walking for Health Initiative (WHI) run by the Countryside Agency and sponsored by the British Heart Foundation. They are one of the most successful fully independent WHI groups in the country. GGHW welcome new regular walkers at all levels. Veterans Sites
There is a related web site of the Goring and District Twinning Association, which is devoted to archiving information about our local war Veterans from Goring or Streatley, who served in the armed forces or who otherwise lived through the war. This was initiated as apart of the 60th Anniversary of VE day.
Other Related Sites
